Hello everyone! It’s time for another Monthly Favourites post as the month of May has come to an end. This month has been an incredible month, in terms of achievements and once again, I would like to thank all my readers and friends for all the good wishes.
I do not really have a lot of favourites from this month. However, I hope that you enjoy reading this post.
And without any further ado, let’s get started!
All throughout this month, track pants and a simple tshirt have been my go-to outfit because such an outfit combination is so easy-to-sport and also uber comfortable, especially when it is so hot in here.
I am loving Atheleisure fashion and I styled a look on the same for my internship with Fowon Shop as most of you know from my post ATHELEISURE LOOK DECODE. Atheleisure has definitely been my one and only fashion favourite for May!!
Beauty and Makeup
A good hair serum is a beauty essential and it took me the longest time to find one that suits my hair type in the best way possible.
I am totally crushing over the Biolage Smoothing Serum from Matrix. It helps in getting rid of frizz and sets your hair especially on those days when your hair feels out of place and shape. Apart from this, it also has a really nice smell.
*Let me know in the comments below if I shall review it.*
My next beauty favourite from May has been the Lakme Eyeconic Eyes Kajal in the shade Turquoise. Mettalic eyeliners in quirky shades like green and blue have been in trend for the past few months and I wanted to give it a try. And, it does look really amazing. Lakme Eyeconic Eyes, in particular, has a great texture and pigmentation. It stays on for a long duration and the shade turquoise is really pretty.
One of my favourite writer is Cecelia Ahern and I try to read atleast one book of hers every month. This month I read the book Thankyou For the Memories, and it was a beautiful piece to read. The story is really magical, full of ups and downs and ends on a really good note, leaving back a smile on your face. It is a must read for all the fiction-lovers out there.
Another book that I enjoyed reading was The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. It is a thriller and I didn’t explore that genre before I came across this book. It has a crazy plot but I enjoyed it. I constantly wanted to know what happens in the end and hence it was an exciting read. Inam looking forward to reading some more thrillers now.
I love watching Bollywood movies and I loved the film Raazi. The plot is really exciting and Alia Bhatt just killed it with her acting skills. I watched it twice and I must say that the film is amazing and a must-watch for all.
That’s all about my May Favourites! I hope you liked reading about them. Hope you all had an amazing month!
See you all soon!
