Hello everyone! Today I am back with a really interesting tag that I was nominated for by my super cute an talented blogger pal SHREYA MADHUSUDAN. Her blog Bookwormtopia is amazing and all about books, reviews and some really interesting stuff!
Also, she is perhaps one of the first people that I have come across who loves similar books as I do! She did this ‘Me in Book Characters’ TAG a few weeks ago and I found it really interesting and fun, only to realise that she had nominated me to do the same, which got me super excited! It is a really cool tag and even though it was quite difficult, I really enjoyed doing it!
So, I hope you enjoy reading this post! And without further ado, let’s get started!
Rules for the tag:
• Thank the creators of the tag – Ash and Lo @Windowsill Books
• Thank whoever tagged you.
• List 5 book character who you relate to most and explain why.
• Tag some of your friends!
• Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games Series
The Hunger Games Trilogy is one of my favourites and I can somehow really relate myself with Katniss. She believes that hope is the only thing stronger than fear, and so do I. I believe in the power of hope even in the darkest and most negative times, even though I dont say it out aloud. Hope is something that keeps all of us going despite every other hurdle. She is also very protective about her family and loved ones, which is one more reason why I can relate to her.
•Andrea Sachs from Devil Wears Prada ( The Book)
Andrea wishes to write in a magazine someday and so do I; the only difference is that I want to write in a Fashion Magazine. She is a complete multi-tasker and has to run all day just to get things working for her, which is pretty much my case at the moment. She is determined to accomplish her goals and I am too. And most importantly, while she is fashionably dressed at times, she usually dresses up in the most non-dressy manner just because she is running late for work, which again is the story of my life.
•Beatrice Prior from the Divergent Series
The best thing, according to me, about the character of Beatrice Prior is that even though she is marked and termed different from the rest, she makes that ‘difference’ a strength rather than a discriminatory weakness. There have been instances when I get sidelined by people just because what I want to do is not very conventional. However, I feel that being marked different really gives you that strength to prove yourself and bring out the best in you.
•Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter Series
I think every other bookworm in this planet can relate themselves to Hermione Granger. Even though it doesn’t seem so, I was really studious in school and very serious about grades. I love studying ( I know this might sound really awkward to you!) and reading! She has a hot-head but takes smart decisions, which is again something that I can relate to.
•Mia Thermopolis from The Princess Diaries
My favourite fictional character althroughout my teenage years was definitely Mia Thermopolis from Princess Diaries. I loved each and every book of the series and what made me feel really close to her character was the fact that I would write journals as well. There was a point when I would try to write in a similar manner and almost at anytime of the day. Every time my mind would get full of thoughts due to over thinking, I wanted to pen it down, just like Mia. She would get into trouble every now and then, and her character was super fun and crazy, which was my case as well back then.
That’s it for this amazingly interesting tag! Even though it seemed difficult at first, I got really amused while writing it. Doing this tag is really a great experience!
I would further like to NOMINATE:
I hope you guys have fun doing this tag. No pressure though! It would be really fun if we could get this tag circulating more before it is really exciting!
Once again, a big thanks to Shreyo from Bookwormtopia!
Thank you all for reading this post! See you on SATURDAY!
YES TO ALL THESE CHARACTERS. Great picks! And I especially love Andrea though I haven’t read the book (yet). I’ve watched the movie though and it’s super hilarious! : D
And I’m glad to have found another person who’s interested in the same books as I am : )

YESS TO HERMIONE!!! I don’t think that there is any bookworm out there who can’t relate to her. And yess to Mia as well. Although I haven’t read the books (oops) And gosh I am definitely like Katniss. She’s such a strong powerful woman and then there’s me who’s scared of pigeons. But hope is definitely a really powerful thing (I think about this same thing in the morning while waiting for my school bus)
