Most of us face quite a lot of negativity quite often, no matter how positive we desire and try to be. It can be in the form of negative thoughts that you get in your head, or some negative comments from people around you, or just a vibe that you feel. While most of us cope up with it and do not let it affect us, some majorly fail and fall prey to it.
This Valentine’s Week, I thought that I should write a post that emphasises upon the fact that one must always spread love through positivity!! This post is very different from what I usually write about, but no matter what our sphere of work is, we need to be positive first so that we can succeed.
Valentine’s Day is a lot more than being with the person you are dating and so on. It is about loving yourself, the way you are. And the once you are in love with yourself, no amount of negativity can affect you to the core.
Here’s listing for you all some ways in which you can feel really good about who you are and FALL IN LOVE WITH YOURSELF!! ❤

Life is full of up’s and down’s. One moment you may feel that you have got the best life ever, and the very next moment you are thrown off-guard with an enormous amount of hurdles standing in your way. However, all you need to do in such a situation is to keep moving, to keep moving forward. Don’t let any negativity pull you down. Channel your energy in a positive direction and just keep going.
#BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
Our belief brings a hell lot of a difference. We need to be confident about the way we are and the things that we want to do in life. No matter what we are doing, we are gonna get some experience out of it as long as we trust ourselves. Situations may not always be in our favour but the experience will. So we need to believe in ourself that we can do it, and so we will!
Fear is a very negative aspect of our life and the more we let it grow, the more we get consumed into negativity. Deal with your fears, face them, and do not worry!! You might be afraid of a certain situation, and even after you face it, it might not turn out to be in your favour. But you can always chalk it up to experience and move on. And you know what? Your fear too will be far more less once you have walked through it and faced the consequences.
#DO NOT CARE!
In this world, every time you want to move forward in life and do something for yourself, there are gonna be tons of people who pull you down with their negative vibes and comments. And sometimes, it really does affect you. Trust me, I have been there. But what I have learned is that we should not care at all about what people think or feel about something that we want to do. As long as we love it and we are confident about it, they are no one to hold us back. So, DO-NOT-CAREEEE! turn a deaf ear!!
This is something that really works in making you fall in love with yourself. You need to radiate positivity and appreciate the little things in life. Do not let out any sort of negativity, because, the ‘law of attraction’ does exist! The more you pass on good vibes, the more will good things happen to you. So well #goodvibesonly!!
Apart from all this, you may try doing certain things that helps you feel good and combats all the pessimism.
- Devote time to doing things that you love. This may be anything. (In my case, it would be dancing, singing, reading and so many more.)
- Spend time with people who give you good vibes; your loved ones.
- Dress up! Because, dressing up actually makes us feel good about ourselves. Also, bright hues cheers up your mood.
- Read a good and positive book. There are tons of books available out there which gives you a different perspective of life and hence gives you positive vibes.
- Look into the mirror and mentally list out all the things that you feel is good in you. Focus on your positive traits.
